Der Verletzte

Den Wind in den Haaren.
Den Glanz in den Augen.
Freude im Gesicht zu sehen,
dies lässt ihn weitergehen.

Schmerzvoll ist sein Bein,
er ist nicht allein,
geht ins Haus hinein.
Eine Taube schaut rein.

Die Tränen rannten ihm hinunter,
jemand kam die Treppe runter.
Er fiel auf die Knie,
besser ging es ihm nie.

Jetzt ist er geheilt.
Menschen kamen herbei geeilt.
Wie er seine Freude teilt.
Denn er ist geheilt!

The injuerd one

The wind in your hair.
The shine in the eyes.
To see joy in the face,
this lets him go on.

His leg is painful,
he is not alone,
goes into the house.
A pigeon looks in.

The tears ran down his face,
someone came down the stairs.
He fell to his knees,
He never felt better.

Now he is healed.
People came rushing in.
How he shares his joy.
For he is healed!
